What Sila is
Sila (silacare.health) is a curated directory of licensed mental health providers. We verify that listed providers hold active, unrestricted licenses, and we display profiles that help people identify providers who may be a good cultural or clinical fit.
Sila is not a therapy platform, a telehealth service, a healthcare provider, or a referral service in the clinical or legal sense. We make introductions. What happens after that is between you and the provider.
By using silacare.health — whether as a visitor browsing the directory or a provider applying to be listed — you agree to these terms.
Clinical disclaimer
Listing in Sila is not a clinical referral or endorsement of any provider. Sila does not evaluate or make judgments about the quality, safety, or appropriateness of any provider's clinical care.
Appearing in the Sila directory means a provider has passed credential verification checks. It does not mean Sila recommends them for your specific clinical needs. You are responsible for evaluating whether a provider is right for you, and for conducting your own due diligence before entering a therapeutic relationship.

Provider terms
By applying to be listed on Sila, you represent and agree that:
- You hold an active, unrestricted license to practice mental health care in the state(s) you list.
- You are not currently excluded from participation in federal healthcare programs (LEIE/SAM.gov).
- All information you submit — credentials, specialties, fees, bio, photo — is accurate and current.
- You will notify us promptly if your license status changes or your practice details change materially.
- You consent to your name, credentials, practice location, specialties, fees, scheduling link, bio, and photo appearing publicly on silacare.health.
Sila may pause or permanently remove your listing at any time if a credential check raises a concern, if you violate these terms, or if we determine in our sole judgment that continued listing is inappropriate.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your profile. Sila is not liable for any harm arising from inaccurate information you provide.
The therapeutic relationship between you and any client you meet through Sila is governed entirely by your professional obligations, licensing board rules, and applicable law. Sila has no involvement in or oversight of clinical care.
Browsing the directory
The Sila directory is free to browse without creating an account. By using the directory, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to collect provider data in bulk
- Use provider contact information for purposes other than seeking care
- Reproduce or republish provider profiles without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its data
Sila's directory data is proprietary. Provider profiles are compiled from provider-submitted information verified by Sila. Systematic collection or reproduction of this data is prohibited.
Accuracy of listings
We verify each provider's license before their profile goes live and re-check credentials periodically. However, licensing status can change between checks. Sila makes no guarantee that every listed provider holds a currently active license at the moment you view their profile.
If you believe a listing contains inaccurate information, please contact us at hello@silacare.health. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate promptly.
Limitation of liability
Sila provides directory information on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sila and its operators are not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or outcomes of any clinical care you receive from a provider found through this directory
- Any inaccuracy in a provider's listed information
- Any harm resulting from a therapeutic or professional relationship you initiate through Sila
- Temporary unavailability of the site or directory
Sila's total liability to any person for any claim arising from use of this site is limited to the amount you paid Sila in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sila after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For providers: if we make changes that materially affect your listing agreement, we will email you at the address on file.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of Sila will be resolved under applicable federal and state law.
